Opportunity Zones (“OZ”) were added to the tax code by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on December 22, 2017. An OZ is an economic development tool designated by states and certified by the Secretary of the US Treasury via the IRS, designed to spur economic development and job creation in distressed communities.

The OZ Hotel Company is focused on strategically developing hotel - hospitality projects in select Opportunity Zones across the United States and delivering investors a unique, risk adverse, OZ investment platform.

TRU HOTEL BY HILTON

The OZ Hotel Company is currently working on the financing for a 97 Room - Tru by Hilton located in Winooski, VT. The project has received approvals from the City of Winooski and has secured the Tru by Hilton franchise. The goal is to break ground on the project in Spring 2024.
